Freetown’s top rated attractions.

Well, one of the most famous sites in Freetown is the 500 years old Cotton Tree (located on Siaka Stevens St.). Under this tree slaves where sold hundred of years ago and the first emancipated slaves rejoined here in 1787. You shouldn’t miss visiting the Low Courts, Fourah Bay College (on Mt Aureol), The National Museum, and the best views of the city are from Hill Station (Walk on Pademba Rd south from the Cotton Tree).
